What I collect, why, and how long I keep it.

Who I am
This site is run by Maxim Furculiță, an independent developer based in Romania. For anything related to this policy, or to ask about your data, write to the address below.

When you use the contact form I receive your name, your email address and your message. Nothing else — no IP address is stored and no account is needed. When you email me directly, I receive what you write and your email address. Cloudflare Web Analytics records aggregated, anonymous information: page views, the site that referred you, your country and your device type. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you.
Why, and on what legal basis
To reply to your message — steps taken before a possible contract, and my legitimate interest in answering. To understand which pages are read — my legitimate interest in improving the site. I do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
How long I keep it
Messages from the contact form are deleted after 12 months, unless we start working together. In that case they are kept for the duration of the collaboration and for any period the law requires.
Who processes it
Resend delivers the email, Vercel hosts the site, and Cloudflare provides DNS and traffic analytics. They process data on my behalf under their standard data processing agreements, which include the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EU. All three are based in the United States.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to the processing. Write to the address above and I answer within one month. If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the Romanian supervisory authority, ANSPDCP — dataprotection.ro.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies. The language is in the address (/en or /ro), not in a cookie, and Cloudflare Web Analytics is cookieless. Your background choice (aurora or particles) is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device.
Sharing
I do not sell your data and I do not share it for advertising. It reaches only the providers listed above, and authorities if the law requires it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Meaningful changes will be noted on this page.
